Anhui Guofeng Wood Plastic Technology Co., Ltd is one of the earliest groups of companies to join the wood-plastic industry. 
 In 2004, Guofeng Wood Plastic was founded in Hefei, Anhui Province, specialising in green wood-plastic new material research and development, production, sales and service.

How is it installed?

WPC products have been designed with special installation accessories, installation is quick and easy. How to clean and maintain it daily?

  • Q About product formulation

    A The main components of domestic and foreign wood-plastic formulations are basically the same, mainly three main categories: plant raw materials, plastics (olefin resin) and additives. Plant raw materials are generally 50~60%, plastics are generally 30~40%, and the rest are additives. Plant raw materials can be divided into wood, bamboo and grass (crop stalks, grass plants) according to the source. Plastics are basically based on olefin resins, of which polyethylene accounts for 80% of the plastic types, the rest are polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride. Auxiliary agents include compatibilizers, lubricants, fillers, pigments, mould inhibitors, antioxidants, UV absorbers and so on.

  • Q Does frequent contact with wood-plastic products harm the human body, and will they release harmful substances to the body?

    A Wood-plastic composite material is a new type of environmentally friendly and recyclable material. From the point of view of composition, the main components of plant raw materials and olefin resin are recognised as environmentally friendly materials, the compatibilizer and lubricant in the additives are similar to the structure of the olefin resin, which is also a healthy and harmless reagent, the filler is an inorganic material, with stable performance, and the other auxiliaries are commonly used in the plastics industry, which will not have any adverse effect on the normal process of use.

  • Q About the antimicrobial performance and mould phenomenon of wood-plastic products

    A Mould rating standard: 0-no mould growth; 1-mould growth area is less than 10%; 2-mould growth covering 10% to 30%; 3-mould growth covering 30% to 60%; 4-mould growth covering more than 60%. Coverage of mould growth is greater than 60%. Commonly used strains are Aspergillus niger, Trichoderma bulbosum, Germinating short-stemmed mould, Penicillium cordatum, green wood mould. Our products are added with mould inhibitor, mould grade 0-1, in non-dark and humid environment basically will not appear mould. For a particular environment, due to floating dust attached to the surface of wood-plastic products, the formation of nutrient layer so easy to mould, this mould is only attached to the surface or the surface layer, will not have an impact on the mechanical properties of the material and life.

  • Q How about the use time and durability?

    A Plastic wood material has superior performance, strong weather resistance, outdoor service life of more than 15 years.

  • Q Can it be planed to make the shape more like wood visually?

    A During the processing and moulding process, we can make wood-like design and production. The appearance of plastic wood is similar to wood, and the surface can be made into bark grain, wood grain, straight grain, etc. If there are serious scratches on the surface, we can make it look like wood. If there is serious scratch on the surface, it can be planed again.
